A community vibrant, spirited, deliberate: Universal House of Justice responds to message from National Convention

The international governing body of the Baha’i Faith, the Universal House of Justice, has responded to a message received by the delegates who were assembled at the 2026 National Baha’i Convention

The delegates wrote a message to the Universal House of Justice during the April Convention. The Universal House of Justice stated that the messaged was “warmly” received, “bearing as it did the hallmarks of a community vibrant, spirited, and deliberate in its advance.”

Read the message in its entirety below:

How warmly the message from the delegates to your Convention was received, bearing as it did the hallmarks of a community vibrant, spirited, and deliberate in its advance. In the opening years of the Plan, the friends have seen a culture of community building take deeper root, have drawn people from every walk of life into meaningful association, have fostered greater unity and coherence among the three protagonists of the Plan, have contributed to social cohesion, and have given fresh expression to their commitment to working alongside Indigenous populations. Your community now enters the second phase of the Plan from a place of strength, at a time when the openness of your society to new ways of thinking in its search for a better life presents opportunities of great promise. Be assured of our prayers in the Holy Shrines that the friends may press on with undiminished confidence and consecration and be assisted to accomplish brilliant exploits in service to the Cause of God and to humanity.
