‘Spirited collaboration’: Universal House of Justice sends message to Australian delegates
The international governing body of the Baha’i Faith, the Universal House of Justice, has sent a message in response to a letter penned by the delegates attending the 2025 National Baha’i Convention.
The message, dated 6 June 2025, speaks to the “spirited collaboration” between the three protagonists of the Nine Year Plan – the individuals, communities, and institutions – being reinforced by “a culture of learning” across the entire country, and the “emergence of rich experience in the raising of vibrant communities and engagement in the life of society”.
The full message is as follows:
The forging of deeper bonds among the three protagonists of the Plan in Australia has been a thrilling development, which was resoundingly reflected in the message from your National Convention. Their spirited collaboration is being reinforced by a culture of learning that is increasingly evident in efforts across all clusters. As a result, we are witnessing the emergence of rich experience in the raising of vibrant communities and engagement in the life of society, particularly in the complex and dynamic context of urban settings. May these noble advances in pursuit of the aim of the Nine Year Plan, made possible by the overflowing generosity of the friends, continue to be extended further still. We will offer our prayers at the Sacred Threshold that the friends may be divinely confirmed as they press onward, brimming with conviction and courage.
The Universal House of Justice
The Nine Year Plan is one of the first in a series of ambitious plans for the worldwide Baha’i community, spanning the next quarter-century, which focuses on “a single aim: the release of the society-building power of the Faith in ever-greater measures.” Each Plan provides a framework for action, empowering the Baha’i community to strengthen its community-building efforts in towns, villages and cities across the globe in a bid to advance the material, spiritual and economic life of society.
