‘Wholehearted unity’: The sacred atmosphere of the 2026 National Convention

A new video has showcased the sacred nature of Baha’i elections and the distinct atmosphere of the National Convention

Held in April, the National Baha’i Convention brought together delegates from across the country to elect the national governing body of the Faith, the National Spiritual Assembly, and to consult on the growth and development of community-building endeavours unfolding in a variety of settings.

According to one delegate, the consultations reflected many “rich insights” experienced across Australia and the “similar challenges that are also being experienced”.

“[It] is really insightful to learn how everyone else is dealing with some of those challenges,” she said.

Another remarked on the “sacred atmosphere”, “sacred environment” and “wholehearted unity” through which the elections were carried out.
