Artworks showcase strength and sacrifice

An exhibition honouring strength, sacrifice and steadfastness is currently on show at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture (ACCC) in commemoration of the one year anniversary of the global Our Story is One campaign.

Held in Barton, ACT, the exhibition showcases Australian contributions made towards the Our Story is One campaign, as well as items from the Made with Love exhibition – a show of handcrafted items from Baha’is imprisoned in Iran to their loved ones.

The exhibition includes Australian contributions to the Our Story is One campaign.

The Our Story is One campaign began in June 2023, marking 40 years of a violent act of persecution against 10 Baha’i women in Iran who after months of torture and imprisonment were mass executed for refusing to renounce their belief in a Faith that promotes gender equality, justice and truthfulness.

The campaign sought to honour the executed women and all the women around the world who continue to struggle for equality, justice and freedom by seeking artistic contributions all around the world, demonstrating that our story is one and that through our unity, we will champion the cause of freedom, justice and equality.

The exhibition featured contributions from the Made with Love exhibition.

The ACCC exhibition is being held in collaboration with the Australian Baha’i Community and will be held until October 8 from 10.30am to 3.30pm daily. It is open to all.

Thanks for reading.
